Emmanuel Chukwu

Chukwu's work can be described as impressionistic realism. Specializing in oil and acrylic painting, and pen and charcoal drawing, Chukwu started drawing when he was 7 and began selling professionally when he was 19.

After 2 years of studying painting with Gary Solem, Chukwu went to School of Fine Arts and Music at the University of Guelph, with a minor in Marketing, where he honed his painting and drawing skills studying with Monica Tap and Sadko Hadzihasanovic. Chukwu has subsequently sold out in his last 3 exhibitions, most recently, a solo exhibition in Guelph at 10C.

Chukwu's art has evolved to become more narrative with a focus on the transcension of honesty.
